    You will need

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 eggs
  • Heat oven to 350°F for shiny metal of glass pan or 325°F for nonstick pan. Grease bottom only of pan.
  • Stir brownie mix, oil, water and eggs in medium bowl until well blended. Spread in pan.
  • Bake as directed below or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean- cool. To cut warm brownies easily, cut with plastic knife using short sawing motions. Store tightly covered.

    • To prepare with butter, make batter using 1/4 cup melted butter, 2 teaspoons water, and 2 eggs.
