    You Will Need

  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 14-16 oz canned tomato sauce
  • 1 can pinto beans, undrained
  • Combine contents of pouch with water. Let sit for 5 min.
  • Heat oil in a stock pot. Saute onion & pepper until softened.
  • Stir in meatless mix and cook for 3-5 min. or until brown.
  • Stir in tomato sauce and beans. Simmer for 10 min. Serve hot.

    • Chili Tips

    Swap any bean for pinto. We also like kidney and black beans. Chili can simmer for up to 1 hour, a richer flavor will develop. Chili can be thinned by adding 1/2 cup of water at a time.

    Kick it up! Garnish with shredded cheese, jalapenos, sour cream, green onion, or avocado.

    Store rehydrated meatless mix in refrigerator up to 5-6 days.
