The subtle flavor of organic South Indian Surekha rice is easiest to appreciate in this pure and simple form, with just a pinch of salt.
Get ready to love Surekha (pronounced sir-RAY-ka) rice! Organically grown in South India, it's nutritionally closer to brown rice than white rice because of the ancient technique of 'parboiling'. The grains get boiled in their husks to lock in nutrients and fiber. We love its firm texture and faintly sweet taste and the way it complements any cuisine.
