Use If You Care Certified Organic Unbleached Cheesecloth for cooking, basting, straining and more without worry about food contact or harming the environment. This versatile natural product is also good for polishing and can be used as a bath scrub. The strong 100% natural cotton fiber is unbleached to help reduce the amount of chlorine that is dumped into our lakes and streams. If You Care Cheesecloth may be boiled and is microwave safe, and because it contains no toxic chemicals, it will not affect the taste or quality of food.
Natural Herb Sachet
(Makes 1 Sachet)
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
1 tsp packed fresh oregano
1 tbsp fresh rosemary
1 tbsp packed fresh parsley
1 bay leaf
1 tsp whole black peppercorns
If You Care Cheesecloth If You Care Kitchen Twine Mix together all ingredients in a small bowl, then set aside. Cut a 4—6 square inch piece of If You Care Cheesecloth and a 4-inch piece of If You Care Twine. Lay the cheesecloth flat and place the herb mixture on top. Carefully gather all four corners of the Cheesecloth and bunch up until the spices are in a ball. Then tie the Cheesecloth with the piece of Twine and use immediately in the soup or stock of your choice!
*Note: Oven safe up to 450°F when properly moistened prior to baking or roasting. Do not use dry.
